A Few Notes On Osama bin Laden's Death

1. Bush invaded a couple of countries with more than a few soldiers but didn't manage to get the guy behind 9/11. Obama did it with a few helicopters and a couple dozen men. #WellPlayed
2. Democrats get to celebrate this as a political victory. After Bush basically sat around and got circle jerked by the media for his amazing handling of the invasion of Iraq, Obama gets to have a little swagger... I'm going to say at least through 2016!
3.  I'm hoping our sense of unity lasts quite a long time. We have been waiting for this moment for nearly a decade and we have finally ended the man that killed 3,000+ Americans.
4. You can be a passivist any day of the week and you can condone the taking of human life at nearly any other juncture in world history but for now, in this case, we get to celebrate the beauty of taking another human's life. This wasn't collateral damage or someone we simply had philisophical disagreements with. This was one of the most evil individuals to ever walk this world. So you don't get to mourn the loss of human life. Not his anyway!
